SERVICES
We offer private counseling for adults aged 18 and over who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, difficult personal relationships, workplace stress, aging, grief and loss, or other challenges. We especially appreciate working with adults aged 60+ and former or retired military personnel.
Our therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and may include family systems therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness practices, and spiritual development, among others.
We practice teletherapy using a secure, HIPAA compliant platform for protection of your privacy. We accept debit and credit cards for payment; we do not accept insurance currently. Fees for initial intake appointments are $125 per hour, and follow-up appointments are $100 per 50-minute session.

WHO WE ARE
Jean Koeninger is a licensed associate counselor in Arkansas. She has
worked as a therapist in private practice settings, in-patient, acute care
psychiatric facilities, community health care centers, alcohol and drug
treatment programs, residential facilities for individuals and families
experiencing homelessness, and within the Arkansas Division of Youth
Services.
Jean's primary goal as a counselor is to create a safe space that will allow for the
development of a strong therapeutic relationship with each client; her belief is that this
connection is vital to effective counseling. Jean works with adults and especially enjoys
working with individuals who are over 60+ years old who may be experiencing age discrimination and the difficulties of aging in today's tech-driven culture.

Through a unique lived experience, Jean brings a fresh approach to the practice of counseling. She grew up in a military family which has led her to appreciate many different cultures. Jean believes strongly in the importance of place and how it can shape our identities and influence our well being. She finds daily nourishment and spiritual healing by enjoying the natural beauty of Arkansas.

Jean loves to cook, read, and spend time with her German Shepherd dog.

MY INSPIRATION
I grew up listening to my father tell stories. Some were factual while others may have been embellished a bit. But they all held an essential truth…that we can understand ourselves through the stories we’ve heard…and through the stories we are still writing. I would be honored to hear your story.
